Not sure if this is the case. If it is, it will be a quick fix, and the default style should be something more obvious.
To clarify, Invisible is the default setting for all three style options when adding a new preset: Default style, Select style, and Temporary style. As result, it is then the default setting for any data layers that may be added to the preset.
I haven't been able to replicate this, zzolo / phayes, can you see this error?
@tmcw, I see this in my demo site, but I haven't had time to fully test it out. I'll check more soon.
