We're about to launch a D5 site, and were fortunate to receive a consultation from Matt Westgate of Lullabot re: site-optimization. Matt gave us a pretty slick recipe for optimizing our site that will make 80% of possible site-performance improvements. The recipe will work for Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 sites.
