Hello,
just a thought: how about to merge your work with the existing http://drupal.org/project/views_checkboxes ?
Cheers

Thanks for the tips guys, will check these modules.

aboros commentedone of main reasons i like this module for is its superlight weight. obviously there are lot of things to add even to this very basic functionality, which will naturally raise complexity making the module heavier. i would bet for let's see what happens.
i must admit i've never used the mentioned modules. :) but i'll give them a try. anyhow, i think letting a small module live for a while to proof its place in the pocket harms no one. ;)

design.er commentedIt's your project and you have to decide what's the right way.
I just wanted to mention that there are already modules with similar functionality out there and the Drupal way would be to merge the knowhow into one module instead of providing 3 (or more) similar modules which all have to be maintained. That's not effective and is also confusing to users if they can't see any difference between the modules and have to download, install and test them all.

awolfey commentedsexy_exposed works with taxonomy heirarchies in exposed filters. I could not make better exposed filters do this.

roball commentedI think the "Better Exposed Filters" module supersedes "Views Checkboxes" (which still has no D6 version). "Better Select" is *not* Views-specific, so the logical way seems that the functionality of "Sexy Exposed" goes into "Better Exposed Filters".
