This is one of the most awesome implement of Drupal I never see: http://tec.fresqui.com

fresqui.com is a really cool combination of Digg and Slashdot running under Drupal for spanish people.

Very cool site! When you say Drupal based I guess you mean that all of the code is in house?

Wow! This site looks amazing...it's got all the Web 2.0 bells and whistles. Anyone from the site want to elaborate on how they developed it?

Things I'd love to know:

1. Are they using the vote up/down module or something custom developed?
2. What are they using to get the karma points?
3. What are they using for friends? It seems like an advanced buddylist!
4. Who the hell is the developer? It's like Drupal on Crack (mind the digg reference)

Good work....

there's a karma module knocking around in CVS.

Very nice. It's still a shame if this will remain inhouse. I checked out their blog and the only mention of Drupal is a job application requirement.

I especially like the comment facelift and the like/dislike buttons.

Very nice site. I wish they would contribute some of their work back, I have a site that I really want to put together that uses a Digg-like voting system and I strictly use Drupal for any site I do. Such modules contributed back would let me focus on what's important to me - content and design - instead of what I cannot do well - program in PHP. Hopefully someday someone will get a proper system like this site has into module form and post it up, then my wait will be over.
