I don't know if this module is what I need as there is no documentation or readme...I need something that offers popup menus when you click on a users name - I posted about it here - http://drupal.org/node/740000
+1 here too. It would be really nice to have a demonstration of the module's features available.
...for example, I do not understand how the Popup breadcrumb works by its description in the the module's page alone. A visual example would help.
PS: I see that the module author is not that active for some months now, but that's how it goes with open source sometimes. Anyways, I think it's better to have separate issues for different things. To that extent I believe that documentation needs to be in its own separate issue. Here: #835404: Provide documentation
I think we should keep this one open till we actually have a demo page with all features or at least screenshots of all features. The creation of some documentation only closes #835404: Provide documentation IMHO.
Proper documentation needs to be done for this module imo. It is basically unusable to many people like myself because of lack of documentation. A demo page or screenshots like people have mentioned would be very helpful. I looked at this module months ago and I was unable to do anything with it, I come back again months later and it's still the same situation. If the creator of the module is unable to provide proper docs can someone who understands this module and got it working for them please step in and provide docs?

tonyhrx commentedI think this module is what I want. But there is no documentation at all.
I can see there is a new input format called popup, but there is no explanation of what a popup tag is.
I can see there is a settings page for popup formats.
I have no idea how the two are connected.
You have done a great deal of work on this module.
Is is possible for you to provide a couple of worked through examples for the non-developer?

TechnoBuddhist commentedchecking out the prev version may help you http://drupal.org/project/popup_filter
That said, I agree with the call for screenshots or a demo site.
The link to the popup filter helped enormously!! Pity it doesn't do what I need, but nice one devs!!

Please check out the preliminary docs. It's been a bit of a madhouse here, so apologies for this taking so long.

klonosI think we should then set this one back to 'active' and #835404: Provide documentation to 'needs work'. What do you people think?

Argus commentedCompletely agree with the need for documentation, this seems a very promising module.
Start of documentation can be found here.
