Issue Summary

Last night I began porting the varnish.module to D5, since the site I'm using it on will be using D5 for some time to come. At this point the admin ui comes up and the varnish stats are showing properly on the admin page, haven't tested/finished the cache refresh itself yet, but am wondering when I'm done if this is something which is desirable to have as part of the official project, or if I should just throw it up in blog post?

Thanks and cheers,
Caleb

I've got this completely working now - please let me know if it's something you'd consider committing to the project. If so I'm glad to help facilitate in whatever way I can, if not for whatever reason I understand.

#2

Yes! Sorry for the late reply. I will give you CVS access if you want. :)

#3

Sure, I'd be glad to create a D5 branch and try and maintain it. We run it on our development and production sites so it will be pretty easy to stay involved. :)

Hi Caleb,

any chance you could upload a tarball of the D5 module here in the meantime? I'd be keen to have a play with it if possible.

Thanks,

Mark

Title:Have port to D5 - any interest here?» Drupal 5 port of varnish.module

For now I've posted the D5 backport of the Varnish module to my site. You can download a zipped copy of it here. When/if I'm given CVS access I'll move this into the Drupal.org repo.

Disclaimer this module is presented as is (though it works well for me and has been running on a production site for a few months now).

So sorry! Caleb G now has CVS access.

Thanks, joshk!

New D5 branch added: http://drupal.org/node/859924 (atm, still needs a couple hours for the packaging script to run before it appears on the project page)
