Is this still the case? I'm running the Drupal 6.15. As of today, there are 26,000 people using 6.x-1.2 and 69 people using 6.x-1.1. Which is recommended for a production site?

6.x.1.2 was last updated on December 22, 2008.

I'm using Pathauto 6.x-1.2

I think most people are using 6.x-1.x-dev as this point, but we'll be having a new release shortly.
