Alarcombe has created several projects, none of which have code and some of which are old enough that they shouldn't be "placeholders" for nearly this long http://drupal.org/user/172759 and http://drupal.org/user/172759/track
I'm sending a contact message:
Hello,
I noticed that you've created a few project nodes without any code being committed. Is there anything I can do to help you commit code on these? Or is there something else that you're waiting for?
The drupal.org policy is that (in general) projects should only be created for code hosted on drupal.org.
Please followup on this at [nid] so that other webmasters can be aware of your plans.
Thanks,
Greg

dave reidThe user's CVS application was to help contribute to the OpenLayers project (http://drupal.org/project/openlayers) but he/she has not made any commits to the project at all. With an additional five projects spanning over 7 months ago, pending results of this warning, I think after this warning we need to revoke CVS access.

avpadernoThe first project without any committed code has been created 33 weeks ago; if he had needed help, then he could have asked for that in the forums, or opening a support request in this queue, but he didn't that.
I would wait for a reply for a week, but if he doesn't commit any useful code in his projects, then his CVS account should be revoked.

alarcombe commentedHi,
I've been fortunate enough to work on a number of commercial D6 projects over the last year which have required custom modules. Two of these are currently entering internal beta testing now and are ready to commit during the next week. As such I attempted to upload the first, uc_netbanx, last night (UTC). It's many years since I used cvs in anger, so I asked on #drupal irc but to no avail. I'll snoop around on irc again to find out what happened.

avpadernoThere are still projects without committed code, and without an appropriate description as per http://drupal.org/node/709790. There have been already a similar case, and projects were deleted.

gregglesIn particular http://drupal.org/project/uc_ca_export_code and http://drupal.org/project/narrative_maps have not code.

avpadernoI removed the projects without any commits, but didn't revoked the CVS account as the user is committing code for other projects.
