Accessing Settings Admin

I have come to realize that whenever I access the Twitter module settings page that I MUST re-input my Twitter password everytime or the module behaves as if it had not been enabled. This should either be corrected - or clearly articulated at the top of the Settings page to avoid serious frustration....!
