Please, allow for different splash pages to show depending on the language of the visitor. Very important for age filters in some websites.

Hi iNade,

Had the same problem myself so have created a workaround and patch to add multi-lingual support.

This will enable you to have links from your default splash page to any other language splash page eg. mydomain.com/splash?lang=es

Solved my problem but could use some further work to link into user profile language settings.

Attached is a patch against the latest 6.x-2.x-dev adding support for i18n multilingual variables. This patch supports all settings under "What" and "How" tabs. However I didn't implement yet the "When" section as I didn't need different "When"-settings per language.
If this changes are considered to be committed, I'll provide a new patch supporting all settings and an update function to retain old settings and delete old unused variables.

The following variables can currently be added to the $conf['i18n_variables'] array in your settings.php:
splash_what_mode
splash_what_content
splash_what_format
splash_how_mode
splash_how_size
