The Active Select project page has a "try out a demonstration" link which would be really useful, but it is not at all clear how to use that site.

It seems like you need to login to do anything, but what is the username/password? It doesn't seem to be possible to register with that site.

OK, this is not strictly a bug with Actice Select itself, but there's no point linking to a demo site where you can't actually do anything.

I figured it out (but some docs on it may be useful).

It seems you can't log into the the "Category Demo" site. Not by registering a new account or by using for example your drupal.org account.

But: if you go the the "Category module" site, using your drupal.org account is possible (didn't check if it is possible to register there).

So, in order to use the demo:
1. go to the "Category demo" site (the link is on the project page),
2. go to the "Category module" site by clicking "Go back to Category Module site",
3. log in using your drupal.org account,
4. go to the "Demo" tab,
5. click the "Go to the demo site" link,
6. now you're logged in.

As for the example of ActiveSelect. If you create new "Category" content, you can see the active select in action in the "Category information" part of the edit page for a new "category".

Hope this helps.
And it probably would help if some instructions are put somewhere.
