I'm trying to alter the Simplnews module and wow! it is beyond my PHP skills.
I'd like to disable the portion that sends a confirmation email to annoymous users. I'd prefer to just give them the link at the bottom if they'd like to unsuscribe.
I can't even tell how SimpleNews decides if a user has confirmed they want the newsletter. I don't see anything changing in the 3 tables provided in this module.
