Greetings,
I am interested in creating a new "business directory" website. If you know what a directory website is, you know all what I need eg. site memmbers just add urls to the directories with their slight descriptions, directories should be listed in a good manner as other directories etc etc.
The question is, which modules should I consider that will pave the way to what I need. I am known to drupal since 3-4 months and have developed many simple websites. But, now its time to elaborate the views. It would be great to have a help on this.
I think its also a better idea to manage various case studies on drupal website (i dont know if it already exist or not) such that how to implement a directory website in drupal, how to implement an oscommerce website in drupal etc etc.

If ou plan to have the power to email all users without the hassle of installing Mailing List module and PHP add-ons, I beliveve MAIL.module works only for 4.6.8. Or you can request the module developer to port mail.module to 472.

How do you set up the PROFILE which is very pleasant to look at...
I have worked on Drupal sites but I have yet to figure out how to do the profile to be like
drupal.org or like EUwork.net
These are STRONG EXAMPLES for people choosing which CMS to use - becuase Drupal has the profile out of the box (but not ready as some newbies thought), only it has to be built at admin/settings/profile
