I assume that your database is not there. Is this a new installation? Did you create the Database?

yup, i did. and i changed it in the file i was supposed to. before that, nothin' came up. after that, this came up. new install.

Create the tables by executing the queries in database/database.[version].mysql

Either follow the instructions in INSTALL.mysql.txt, or if you have phpmyadmin, select the database, go to SQL or import and import the mysql file

I was about to ask the same problem....but instead,I searched with various strings.

at last i got this thread by line number.

I was getting the same errors.

There are two steps to it

* Create the tables in database which is done by install.php.
* Update the database which is done by install.php

Looks like your tables are not being populated. Try running http://www.yoursite.com/install.php and then run http://www.yoursite.com/update.php
THis will hopefully help you get rid of the above errors.

I have the same problem.

I'm trying to install 4.7.6....

I tried loading the database.mysql.inc file into the database via phpMyAdmin and it gave me this:
