hixster commentedA little more information. This seems to be a problem when used with LoginToboggan, so probably not an issue with this module itself, rather a conflict of sorts.
It's appears the confirmation messages or status messages don't make it to the ajax window/pane

compujohnny commentedHow do you have the Logintoboggan module configured? if you can provide a screenshot of the configuration page or just tell me how you set your configurations
Comment #3
hixster commentedSure..
I've attached 2 images which show all the options. ( I did try all combination of options to see if that changed anything, which is didn't)
- My primary reason for using loginToboggan is to provided a login form when a user hits a 'not authorized /404 page'.
I noticed system messages aren't output even when logging in the standard login form, ie www.mysite.com/user
My URL switches to www.mysite.com/users/myusername?1098073424=1

compujohnny commentedWhat do you mean by system messages not being output, give me a use case I can try to replicate the situation

hixster commentedO.k, so after registering for an account a new user receives no confirmation message ie:
Your username and account details have been sent to... etc
For a use case, try creating a new user from fresh though the registration form. www.site.com/user/register
Once registered, you get kicked back to the homepage and no confirmation message or account creation details get displayed.
My URL has an ajax ID (?) www.mysite.com/?593508271=1 in it.

hixster commentedHey John,
Have you had a chance to check the module with loginToboggan yet?

abtm commentedHi hixster, have you managed to find the cause? I use LoginToboggan not Ajax Login but am having the same problem as yours. Haven't got a clue about it. It's really frustrating to find out actually new users don't get the confirmation message after they register. I don't how long it has been like this. Would be great to hear your solution. Cheers.
