I'd like to suggest adding a trigger for when a webform is submitted etc.

It could do things like send more complicated e-mail, present the user with another screen, run Cron whatever etc.

No new APIs are being added to the 2.x version, though we've already added hooks for submissions in the 3.x version in #277887: Add submission API hooks. I don't plan on adding Trigger/Actions support directly to Webform module.
