what is the relationship of this module to this one ?

I see, it's for UK payment gateway but as it is not hosted on Drupal there is no issue queue or community feedback.

We should merge the UK module changes into AU and notify EWAY UK to direct people to Drupal.org instead.

There is also a version on the new zealand site at http://www.eway.co.nz/developer/payment-code/shopping-cart-modules.aspx which looks to be pretty similar to the UK version.

After having a brief look at these modules they have some issues.
They also have bugs which mean that the modules won't work properly - See #941052: NZ Eway module - downloaded from eway.co.nz
They also require in the README.txt that you modify cores index.php file, which is a definite no-no and will cause you problems when you upgrade drupal core.

Have you successfully used the UK version with live eway?

It would be great if all these version would be merged into this module and we just have one version that works for all countries.
