Suggest configuring the new forum topics block to appear on the tracker pages.

It seems recently that the new forum topics block may have been reconfigured to only appear on the Drupal.org home page. I suspect that many people, like myself, use the tracker page as their home page. Having the New forum topics block appear there was a handy way of checking to see if any new topics had gone unanswered. I also suspect it may have encouraged others to provide support as well.

Bump... I'd like this, too.

Queue Cleanup...

3.5 years later... technically this should be 'wont fix'ed, but I like the idea of having that block on the tracker page.

Thoughts?

I'm still +1. :)

The only possible objection to this would be increased DB load. I know that block is fairly expensive. Let's bump this to the infra queue to get the DB folks (killes, nnewton, et al) to comment...

Yeah, that block is indeed a bit problematic. But since we are running it anyway...

I assume it is already cached?
