User id missing in node_revisions table when email verification required

'uid' is set to '0' in 'node_revisions' table, when registering using this module's functionality, if email verification is required to complete registration.
In table 'node' 'uid' is correctly set though.

When I uncheck the email-verification-required checkbox at 'admin/user/settings', all goes well.
But then I lose the email verification enforcement.
