In order to view flag activity where the node flagged was authored by the current user (or a specified user), we need to track the node's user id when logging the activity. I added a comment here with more details:

but am putting this as a separate issue so it doesn't get lost. I added a patch to that comment. I tested locally.

Actually, that doesn't seem to be enough code.... I'm not seeing any text associated with the flag activity.
