Improved Search by Author

Hi,

when I want to add a filter based on authors, I am given a list with all authors present in the system. These include not only main authors of papers, but also secondary, tertiary and even editors. This list is sometimes overwhelming.

I would like to propose the following ways this could be improved:

- a main biblio option to select only authors who are primary authors of some paper. This would shorten the list, removing editors and other less important authors from the search list.
- a main biblio option to select only authors who are linked to a drupal user. This would select only authors belonging to the research group.
- an additional field to authors, something like "shows in search list", so that we could select on a per-author basis which one to show in the search list.

So, these are just suggestions and I don't know how hard it would be to implement them.
