After this latest update, nodewords_nodetype.module isn't printing any description on its node. It simply defaults to the Nodewords default description.

nodewords_nodetype.module is not part of this project.
I am moving the report to the correct issue queue. Please report the exact nodewords_nodetype.module version you are using.
