I work in the medical field and I am interested in a classified ads website for medical equipments. I would like searches to be narrowed down by location. I can do the rest of the module configuration and the only problem is getting my head around the location setting.
I came across a website that uses the hierarchy select module very well for location. http://www.cavegoat.com
When posting an ad http://www.cavegoat.com/node/add/ed-classified-autos I like how it lest you pick location. Tried to set up location module but it only shows the state and no city.
Also when searching, it will let you filter by location http://www.cavegoat.com/ed-classified/tid/215 . Some countries have 3 fields (country, state/province, city) while others have two e.g. China). How do I get that functionality? Are the country, state/province, and city fields optional so you can use all 3 for a country like USA and two for a country that has no states? Is this the Taxonomy location module?
I would like users to search items using keywords but the search facility provided by Drupal does not do this. For example http://www.cavegoat.com/ed-classified/tid/215 I searched for impala but there was not a hit. However impala is the type of car on the 6th row on the view page. Any advice will help. THANKS.

Did you figure out how to set up locations? Which modules did you use for that? I would be highly interested if you have found a way and can share it.
