Hi,

I'm using cck and "Content Taxonomy" and I'm having some confusion. I will list what I'm doing.

1. Create my new content type
2. Create TWO TAXONOMY with all the vocabulary I need
3. Select the new content type in the TAXONOMY 'type'

Now, when I try to add new content, I see a frame showing the TWO TAXONOMIES I created.

To avoid that, I'm doing the following:
1. Create TWO TAXONOMY with all the vocabularies I need (I do not assign ANY TYPE)
2. Create my new content type
3. Add a field to the content type, of type "Content Taxonomy Fields" and link it to my taxonomy

This works great, I just want to know if it's the correct way of doing this.

Yes - by default Taxonomies can be added to any content type just by selecting the content type in the Vocabularies form. The Content Taxonomy module adds additional functionality to allow you to position and render your taxonomies on your form in a more flexible way. Just use one or the other, not both.
