hi,

i have created a site through which i want to sell WP and Drupal themes. i am using ubercart. i have registred in PayPal and configred ubercart.

Now to make it live, what are the procedures other than domain registration and hosting?

Do I have to make some agreement with the government to SELL a service internationally?? i spoke with an agent of greengeeks.com, they said something about SSL and all..

I know nothing about these..

i am from INDIA.

please help. and please tell me if there is any legal/licensing procedures to sell a product. and is there anything legal i have to do like licensing to use the copyright symbol in my site (with the legal module)??

You might want to check with your local Chamber of Commerce or a similar source of authority over these matters.

If the webserver is in india, then I would worry about Indian laws. The US has no jurisdiction. If you are in the states, then I would imagine you have a whole host of things to do, including paying taxes, you should also hire an attorney for a website disclaimer etc. Form a LLC to protect your personal liability etc. My advice, set up in India.

Legal zoom has fairly cheap LLC forms.

Again, Pay Taxes.

i am from india. i was planning to host in the godaddy.com website..

i just want to have a few "pay with PayPal" button on a single page. like "coupon 1", "coupon 2", etc. with different prices. i have registered in the PayPal and have added the buttons in a page... those are working fine.

but fully confused with this hosting and licensing things.

please help...
