I've looked but can't seem to find the answer... under the main Gmap settings it wants a GMap API key... I've tried leaving it blank and I've tried putting in the primary site API key but both give me "you need a different API key" warnings and do not display map information on my subdomain nodes.

I'm thinking I'm missing a setting somewhere that allows the domain GeoLocalization API to override the main GMap API...? Sorry if it's a dumb question!

Try creating a unique key for each domain and using that instead.
