Is this module supported? It appears like it isn't because A. no new release since 2 year old alpha release and B. no issue closed in over a year.

If this is abandoned, it needs to be run through the abandoned projects process, and http://drupal.org/node/427804 needs to be adjusted to indicate the module is not in use.

It's not abandoned. There just aren't any bugs to fix :-)

I don't run 6.x myself, so even though it seems to work great, I still consider it alpha.

Perhaps drupal.org reply system got better, but I stopped closing support requests after people complained that they didn't get my reply when I marked it closed.
