I am looking for a way where I can make a link create a node.

The node is simple and has a CCK field in it that is a number, I am just going to want to set the CCK field with the link (Im pretty sure there is a prepopulate nodefield that will do this) but I also want it to SAVE the node at the same time.

All I need from the node is the USER NAME and TIME OF CREATION.

Essentially it's like a counter. The user clicks the link when they have done the task and the node gets created. I want to keep it as simple as possible because I dont want the user to have to do anything extra... or else the tool wont work. An extra step (ie: clicking SAVE) is not really an option.

Once the user has clicked the link (which they may make a bookmark in their web browser) it would then take them to the thank you screen.

Anyone have any ideas?
