Is there a way to get Facebook- or Buzz-like photo/video/event/link/media attachment functions that automatically fetch an image and a teaser/a preview from attached photos/videos/events/links/medias? It's a really cool feature for bloggers. I'd like to incorporate it into my private blog on my drupal site.

This would also be good as part of the CCK. Because I could see this is a very useful tool for stories (not only blog posts). It adds rich content to pages, quickly. When you tell a story, you often put multiple posts, each having its own set of links and citations. If at least one of those links had a teaser automatically generated, it would be a simple way for users to improve the appeal of the story additions without having to add cumbersome media uploads or custom code.
