Hi,
I have installed the table manage and tables module in Drupal 4.7.
When I go to create content I see the following:
" Table Entry
Choose from the following available tables:"
Below this is blank.
How do we set up tables or am I missing out something on adding the module.

pobster commentedHmmm that's strange... You shouldn't have anything on that page if you've no tables... It is a clean install right?
You can go to admin/tablemanager and create your new tables from there.

pobster commentedIncidentally the tables module has absolutely nothing to do with the tablemanager module at all, they are two completely different modules.
One thing to note though, what I wrote above isn't entirely correct... On the create content screen it should show:
table
Create a new table

pobster commentedLook... I can't help if you don't reply and I will close this ticket after a week if you don't respond as I'll just assume you've done something stupid and fixed it yourself? If you've had to change something I'd appreciate you posting here what you've had to do as more people may come across the same problem. Either way, your fault or my fault - POSTING is a good way to let me know whats going on ;o)

garry_bs commentedAt first I want to apologize for the delay in reply. I was travelling hence the delay.
As suggested by you table manager works and table is created using Table Manager.
However when one goes to create content there is the display as pointed out by you. But when you try to try to go forward by pressing the "Select your table a blank screen is presented.
Only created tables show up under the create tables under create content.
Thanks for helping out on this point.
Could you advise how one is to add this to a Category that is to be created. What are the best uses for this table.
Links to any site to appreciate this feature shall be nice.
Thanks and look forward for your help in putting the tables in a catergory.
The struture that I want to create is as under
Category
---- Subcategory
-------- Level Three
-------- Add content at this level
-------- Content to be added -- Html Page links/ pages
-------- -- PDF Pages
-------- -- Tables
My taxomomy Association button gives me an error could you guide me to a read up on how to use the Taoxonomy Modules to the use them properly.
Thanks for your hep and assistance

pobster commentedI can't recreate this at all under any circumstances? I can't think what could be going wrong?
I know this is asking a lot but is it possible for you to create a clean test site and install tablemanager on it? Let me know if it happens then? As obviously, then it's a system/ install problem rather than a code problem.
Thanks

pobster commentedI think I'm getting the whole picture now...

You've quite obviously got set up problems - I'm going to close this ticket as I can't recreate it.
Please note as well that tablemanagers tables are NOT nodetypes, you cannot categorize them - what you do is insert the tables into normal nodes then you set category/ taxonomy on the nodes.
