take_control 6.x-2.0-beta2

This is the second stable release for the 2.x branch of the module. Compared to Beta1, the Async Ajax calls have been moved to execute under Drupal bootstrap for enhanced integration with Drupal and security, thereby simplifying the installation procedure also.

The 2.x branch incorporates considerable new functionality and change in architecture. Features a full file browser/manager for Drupal, and the existing permission management (refactored as Quick Permissions module in this release).

Please read the README.txt file carefully for installation, and upgradation. A video demonstrating the install process is available at:

Do not get confused by the beta tag. The module is stable to be used in production. The beta tag has been kept because the author has features in mind that he would have liked to implement for the full 2.0 release, but skipped them for a future date due to shortage of time.
