Hi All,

I've created a new role called editor. However, I've given all ddblock related permissions to the role.
The user can create new ddblocks.

However, when he tries to edit/create a new newsitem node, all the options for scroll text and other ddblock related is not shown.

Could somebody help me?

Do you have content permissions sub module of CCK enabled?
If yes, did you give permissions for the fields used in the slideshow.

Sorry for the delay..

In the permissions field, the role for the user is given View and Administer DDBlock

Oh you mean in the Content Permissions module
Edit_slide_text and so on.. ah thats what I'm missing!

When you don't need the permissions per field it is better to disable the content permissions module.
When you need it yes, you need to set permissions per field you use in your content types.

Please let me know when this solved your issue.
