sorry Eugen, could you kindly explain what is different/needed to be added for content profile to work correctly? I would really appreciate additional info so I can better understand what will be happening.

My concern is I have a Rule to redirect user to a specific page when they save their content profile node.

yaz085 you can redirect the user as you like. Aslong as the user uses the save button or the cancel button, the node will get unlocked properly. So you can use your content_profile as usualy, also with the rules integration
