Have installed drupal, all seems to be working fine, however when I install a theme (the zen one for example) the CSS is not working for the theme. have created a themes directory under /sites/all and installed the theme folder under there. I can then see it in the Admin control panel but when I make it default the CSS doesn't appear to be firing. Have tried a number of themes.
A google search didn't throw any light onto this.

I can switch between the standard themes, but when I add a new theme, not any css is used.
Blocks are set. But logo, screenshot etc is not found and css is not used. Tried different themes of which i experienced they work on other sites. Always the same: blue links, black text, white background - no css used, but all blocks are available.
It is an online Drupal 7.10 on apache-mysql-php-provider.
