Ability to add current date to filename

As suggest here http://drupal.org/node/506764#comment-1898406, it would be useful to be able to use a date token in the exported filename.

Looks like this should be done in a more general fashion, but I don't have better ideas than http://drupal.org/node/702180#comment-3537078 for the time being.
