Hi - as the subject says. If I place an item from a wishlist in my cart and that item is subsequently removed from the Wishlist by the owner - I can still checkout and buy that product. I would expect one of two things to happen here:

Either:
1) The item that is removed from the wishlist is also removed from the shopping cart - preventing purchase.

--or --

2) A note is added to Wishlist message at the top of checkout that explains the item is no longer in [USER]'s Wishlist but you can still buy it anyway.

cheers

Jason

Hi Jason,

I think it makes sense that a product remains in the cart when removed from wishlist.
The wishlist and cart, imo, are two different things and the user should maintain them both seperately.

Just my 2 cents

I disagree completely. If I remove an item from my wishlist that means I no longer want it. If someone has that item in their cart then it should be removed from the cart to prevent purchase the instant I remove it from my wishlist.

Hi,

Just my 2 cents, I think its better to keep the product in the cart in order to promot the purchase of the product. Users has the choice to remove the product from the cart.
