Hi Folks,

I added the FAQ module and it raises some questions.

I can’t change the sequence of the questions beyond chronological or reverse chronological. And I’d like to express explicit control over the sequence. Can this be done?

Maybe I don’t want to fight with the FAQ module and I should consider using a different content type. Can anybody suggest a suitable content-type?

That's what weighting the questions does. Go to Site Configuration->Frequently Asked Questions->Weight. From there you select the questions and move them up or down in the order as you please.

Also the General forum is not for asking technical questions. If you have to post in a forum, this sort of question probably belongs in Post Installation. However, for module-specific questions like this one, I recommend posting a support request in the queue for that specific module. That way the module developers, and other users of the module will be able to see it. Many module maintainers do not frequent these forums looking for support questions on their modules.

I don't have the Weight link in my FAQ you refer to

site config > faq > General or Questions or Categories

Only these 3 options show for me.

An alphabetic sort order in an FAQ, seems pretty obvious in my book...
