Search block not present in internet explorer
I seem to be having the same problem with the nonexistant search module block... the search block code is not present in the page source as viewed from i.e.
did you find a solution to this problem? There doesn't seem to be anything strange in the html that the module is passing back, but I wouldn't necessarily know...
As a quick experiment, I tried copying the source from firefox, then pasting it into an html file and opening it i.e., and it displayed the search bar correctly.
any insight would be much appreciated.
Sometimes.... boy I'm slow
Sometimes.... boy I'm slow on the uptake.
I figured it out and it was just my own slow-wittedness.
I work 99% of the time in firefox, switching over to internet explorer (ie tab is a great ff extension!) just to make sure everything looks nice.
Switching over to i.e. does not keep me logged in, however, so I view the site as an anonymous user. . .
I had simply never set the access rights to the search module. oops.
Just glad I realized before I started debugging the php.....oy!
