I have several domains sharing a codebase using the core multisite feature.

Elsewhere I have several sites sharing a different codebase using the virtual sites module

Is it possible to use virtual site for several domains within a multisite setup?

I would like to take advantage of the fact that all my sites would then use a single codebase, but for a few of them (where I enabled the virtual sites module), i would like to take advantage of the virtual site configuration features. Would that work?

Does anyone know if virtual sites can coexist with the multisite feature?

I'd like to use multisite (to save space for several domains), then have one of them set up as virtual sites (to get its sharing features amongst a few sites).

I tried on my install and I cannot make it work at all (the theme remains the same whatever I do.)

You may want to use themekey instead. That works great for me! 8-)
