Is is possible that this additional field is available for hidding. For everything else its possible to hide it but for this it just doesnt wont to go away :-)

try the dev version.
Also, there are quite a few issues regarding the additional field. Look through the issue queue and see if any address your concern.

I tested this, and additional does hide... try the dev version.

also, it was of note that the additional field printed on the same line as the street field
