How do I repeat events using eventrepeat?

I have just installed the event and eventrepeat modules. I can create events but how do I go about creating event repeats. I'm setting up a drupal intranet for employees and need to put "pay-day" every other Friday. I'm using Drupal 4.7.

Access Roles
You installed the module, but....
1. Did you go to Administer/Content Types, select "Settings" for your event type, and click "Allow repeat events" ?
2. Did you go to Administer/Access Roles to allow users access to it? Look under "eventrepeat module"

I looked and looked for the "Allow repeat events" but must have just been too tired to see it staring me right in my face. Sometimes you just need to step away from the keyboard for a bit, hu?

everything is okay but
I installed the module..
access okay..
content types okay...
but it doesnt appear when i create the event
Presumably you have enabled
Presumably you have enabled the content type to show in the event calendar
(go to admin -> settings -> content types
and then hit "configure" for the relevant content type. Look for the "Show in event calendar:" options at the bottom. You need to select "All views" or "Only in views for this type"
Actually you've probably sorted this out by now but perhaps it will help someone else ...

Also it's easy to confuse the admin -> content -> content types page with the admin -> settings -> content types page ...!
event repeat issue

I m using event repeat with drupal 5.2 . Event module and calender are working fine but event repeat is not working as desired. When creating a new event there is repeat option . I select repeat type weekly and move to advanced options, where there are many options for the repeatation of events (e.g daily , weekly , monthly etc.) I choose sunday as the day for the event to be repeated when I submit the event it appears on other days also. How can it be configured properly?
