I've installed drupal on my local machine. I use it as Open atrium and it works fine and without error messages.
Now I've upgraded the drupal core at version Drupal 6.16 and got this message:

user warning: Table 'atrium.semaphore' doesn't exist query: SELECT expire, value FROM semaphore WHERE name = 'locale_cache_de' in \atrium-1-0-beta5\includes\lock.inc on line 154.

I don't understand this message and can't fix it.
That's right: I haven't got a table atrium.semaphore/semaphore at my sql-db.

Could you explain the message?

Many thanx for help.

How do you update Drupal Core (6.16) in Open Atrium?

I installed a fresh OA install and immediately informed that I needed to update to 6.16, but when I did the profiles directory completely removed all of the OA info.

I tried again and left the previous profiles (bundled with OA), but still no success.

Any tips would be great.

Installed Open Atrium, got wonderfully woozy over it - major wow factor. Got an update message a few minutes later to update to D6.16. Followed standard Drupal core update process and the installation went down in a smoldering heap of slag.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. This looks to be an incredibly awesome tool.

Thanks,

Sher

I am running Vista Home Primium on a 64 bit system.

Can anyone help me?

how ever it will not run the update it comes to a page a long page full of php codes..

this is the message i get ,, seems similar to what every one is experiencing:

user warning: Table 'blackbikehostel.semaphore' doesn't exist query: SELECT expire, value FROM semaphore WHERE name = 'locale_cache_it' in /home/blackbikehostel/www/includes/lock.inc on line 154.

well i'de like to run the update before deciding to start it all again from scratch..
please help me , i could even givce out admin access and quote the time spent on the site.... i should sending out newsletter but i am still trying to fix the site.. terrible situation.

I'm having exactly the same problem as Simon Critchell. I run update.php as admin and this always gives two user warnings and stops. It never gets as far as the database update described by other users.
I have tried in the directory where the new version was unpacked (and all modules and sites copied), and I have tried again after renaming the new directory to the name of the original; still no change.

Any ideas from the boffins?
