Content automatically set to post to the front page

Extremely minor, and I'm not entirely sure if it is the module, or how my site is set up. But when I first installed the module biblio posted new entries to the front-page by default. I disabled this, and changed the default, but I suspect that it would make more sense to ship the module so that it doesn't automatically post new entries to the front-page.

It seems like this would make more sense, but then again perhaps this is just a consequence of how I have things setup and not a feature of the module.

I think I might be able to solve this myself, but I'd like some confirmation first that some code to change this would be welcome before I invested the time in solving the problem.
