The main reason I wrote this module was to give OpenLayers module proxy support in Drupal. I think the best approach for integration is to put a map_alter in this module.

Hi zzolo,

In http://drupal.org/node/845852 you write "If using the Proxy module, set this to: l/proxy?request=", so ¿is Openlayers supported? ¿What does it mean the letter "l"?

committed and released. There is now a an openlayers proxy module that forces the proxy value on maps.
