Can anyone tell me how to remove the news aggregator link from Navigation menu? I've tried disabling it, but the child categories remain and do not have a disable option. I've also tried moving it under the Admin menu so users cannot see it... yet the news aggregator link still comes up.

Any ideas?

(Yes, the news aggregator still needs to function. I'm just looking to remove the link)

Create New Menu, which will not be assigned to any region in future. It should be for any such links you want to hide only.

Go to Menu >> Navigation >> Edit "Feed Aggregator". Assign this menu item to hidden menu.

lol Maybe you should check the date before posting. That question was from 2006 (Drupal 4.X) and the method you just explained wasn't present. :)

the problem is, that all new categories you create to sort your feeds are automaticall linked to the navigation menu. this is really crappy since i want my users to be able to create categories but i want control where links to those categorized feeds appear.

quite strange this topic earns so little interest.
