Update field_gallery to 4.7

I suspect that the reason this has not been reported as such is that test sites may have been upgraded from a previous Drupal version.
In a fresh install of Drupal 4.7.2 with either CVS or released version of flexinode, an attempt to add a node with an image results in the errors:

There is a gallery defined and it has a category and it has images.
The "fix in site configuration" link goes to the image gallery configuration but there is no longer a global vocabulary for image galleries.

Isn't the Drupal community support wonderful? This has only been an active issue for two months now, with count it, zero response from the developers.

You're asking for support for a module which is being dumped in favour of CCK. Now I don't like CCK at all and I know a few other site admins who don't either... I believe the developer of flexinode has stopped updating it as he believes it'll soon become redundant. Very sad :o(

Actually, the bug is in the contributed field_gallery.inc file.
I've got the latest flexinode download, and this contrib file hasn't been updated to the 4.7.x forms API as yet.

I gave up with flexinode and moved over to cck. So far I haven't had any problems with it.

no, it is now a feature request for a specific field. I think it is bet to leave such request open, maybe someone who needs that field will submit a patch... :)
