question in subject. it is amazing that i changed that setting just a couple of days ago, but now can not find anywhere. i looked three or four times every corner of administration pages. i switched to drupal a month ago and i think the weakest side of this wonderfull software is organization of admin llinks. it is just messup. at least for newbies like myself until get used. and it takes longer time in comparison with other CMS. anyway i've gone off the tangent. could anyone point me where i can change session kill time after user logs out, please?

see this thread http://drupal.org/node/41754

also basically

Your settings.php file should have a line like this:

ini_set('session.cookie_lifetime', 2000000);

PHP docs say:

session.cookie_lifetime integer

session.cookie_lifetime specifies the lifetime of the cookie in seconds which is sent to the browser. The value 0 means "until the browser is closed."

or you might mean admin > blocks > who is online > configure ..

and, please .. remember you catch more flies with honey than vinegar .. as it is frequently stated on this site

Thank you everybody who replied to my question. I was looking for what jadwigo advised. O my God, despite it is so simple, I spent weeks to dig this out. Thank you jadwigo! You see, drupal makes to quickly get used to look for configurations in admin and setting sections, I completely forgot that some block's could have their own tuning. So confusiong for drewbies. Finally solved, uhh.
