Just wanted to share a site of mine (current theme is in a Live Beta test) that uses Rotor Banner's Views style plugin with a custom content type and some CSS styling for display. It's used as a SpotLight feature on the homepage and a few other sections of the site:

And thanks again to Mr. Felton for this excellent module, and the help he's provided myself and others in the past with this module. I have a live site at work that will contain a similar setup as well for the SpotLight feature.
