Hi, I have built a region above my header that has an email signup box on the right, and rotating advertiser banners on the left.

So, for the left banner region, I've built a content type (banner ad), built a View using Slideshow, and all looks good in rotation. Except in IE. It works great in Firefox, but in Internet Explorer, it keeps dropping the email signup box below once the ad rotates to the next image. Plus, it fills the background in white.

I have tried using the Advertisement module, but it won't let me put a linked image there unless it's an html image. And it doesn't track clicks with that type of image. Plus you can't rotate ads with Advertisement.

I have tried re-working css, set the background color as none, all of that. But I can't seem to find where it's going wrong.

Oh! and now in IE8, it won't show the background on the entire page unless it's in compatibility view.
