Hi, I am a new user. And i have two problems.
1. I am going to change the current DotNetNuke system of a website to Drupal. However, I don't know what would be the best and fastest solution - to migrate from the current to the new system, or in a way to start from the beginning - to install Drupal and to start building the site (or kind of copy pasting the content of the site).
2. The company has two servers - one of them for the website and the other one is not in use. This is where I would be working. However, I cannot very clearly see how exactly i should do it. I mean, in the beginning i was thinking just to start from scratch, like installing drupal and then, as i mentioned before, to make the site from the beginning, kind of. I don't really know...
I hope I explained myself clearly and i really hope you would be able to help me!!!!

Hi !
1. It depends on how much content you do have on current DotNetNuke site. If you have few pages and few users than you can do simple copy paste. For migration look at http://drupal.org/node/486994
2. I don't really know... it is up to you :) You can use existing active server for Drupal (replace) site for building/testing too, and when you are finished just make it public, replacing the old one.

As tomaja said, if it's a small site, do it by hand. If it's larger, look into import options.
As far as servers, it shouldn't matter--Drupal should be quite portable so you can work on one server and always transfer to another later if need be.
